Coming on board as Head of Creative my goals were to establish the emerging business with better brand development, a professional website and better client deliverables. Managing a team of two and the occasional work place student, we drove Gemsatwork to a new level of presentation.
My role as Head of Creative, was to develop and lead the brand in a way that continued to reflect their growing business and expanding market. Working internally to establish a team of creatives, we refined the branding and updated their messaging and website. The process included design, imagery, content, structures and processes in place to campaign and build awareness. The website needed to attract new customers and businesses, as well as service the current customer base. Business growth also meant we had to create better online engagement and new offerings for existing customers.
All new stationary, marketing materials and website, were re-designed and developed to project a unified and professional business with a stronger focus on brand clarity. Reports provided for business, on how their sample engagement was perceived, became a streamlined process with a bullet proof structure and contemporary design.
Online discount offers were created through affiliate programs and provided to customers via weekly emails and creating a new way to engage with the Gemsatwork website. Not only did this generate over £200 from the initial launch, it provided customers with further freebies and discounts, extending and promoting the values of Gemsatwork.
A university graduate was employed for social media management, along with a graphic designer to keep the output and vision of all marketing materials to a high standard. Presentation and pitch documents created higher conversion rates within the business to business area and together we crafted a professional brand outlook for this startup sampling company.
From brochures and marketing collateral, through to website and messaging —Gemsatwork employed me to take care of it all. It was important that the business retain this new level of branding through internal resources that were guided by new structures and processes that delivered.
Raising the bar across all marketing deliverables, with clear consistent messaging and collateral, resulted in their highest business growth to date. Working with major brands, developing internal processes, employing team members and providing the leadership needed to push the vision of the business, achieved a fantastic result.
Working for Gemsatwork was such a great experience and personal challenge, resulting in both growth for their business and myself as a creative.
